The Best Anna Maria Island Fishing Charter For Your Family with Captain Nate Costello and AMI Excursions

The Best Anna Maria Island Fishing Charter For Your Family

Why is AMI Excursions the Top-Rated Anna Maria Island Fishing Charter service?

AMI Excursions is an owner-operated small family business, with me, Captain Nate Costello, handling everything from the first phone call to guiding your family on an Anna Maria Island fishing charter you will never forget.

Fishing Charters, Dolphin Tours, Island Tours, and More!

We do more than just fishing, although that is definitely my bread and butter and what I am most passionate about. I take families on dolphin tours, eco tours, island tours, and just about anything you would like to see, from beautiful hidden beaches to driving through the canals and admiring the amazing houses.

One thing that sets my service apart from every other is that it’s owner-operated, and I started this business from scratch. All 500 of the 5-star reviews that AMI Excursions has were earned by me, providing families with a service worth every penny. I know fishing charters are expensive, but I guarantee that when you hop off my boat at the end of our trip, you’ll be smiling ear to ear, knowing it will be the highlight of your visit.

I have a lot of confidence in my service due to the numerous hours and days I’ve spent on the water studying the waters, tides, and the fishery itself. I am passionate about teaching all ages about fishing, our ecosystem, the importance of different elements on our waterways, and the value of doing what you love every day.

A Private Fishing Charter Service on Anna Maria Island, Florida

We are a private fishing charter service that does not offer split trips, meaning we only take your party; you will never share the boat with another family unless you choose to. AMI Excursions also collaborates with a selective network of other fishing and boat tour guides in case I, Captain Nate, am already booked. Since this can often happen, booking a month in advance is always recommended. This way, we can ensure you get on a charter boat with another guide who shares the same pride, passion, and dedication to helping you catch fish and enjoy an unforgettable time on the waters of Anna Maria Island.

We are gaining a reputation as Anna Maria Island’s top-rated fishing charter service through the values we uphold. We can’t wait to earn your business and take you on a fishing adventure that you will talk about for years.

The Boat: A top-of-the-line 24-foot T Craft Boatworks

You will be fishing on a top-of-the-line 24-foot T Craft Boatworks fishing machine, built right here on the south shore of Tampa Bay, just a few minutes down the road from Anna Maria Island. These boats are the best fishing charter vessels ever made, with a 9-and-a-half-foot beam, making them the widest bay boat you’ll ever see and the most stable, roomy, and comfortable fishing boat in their class.

These boats are second to none, and no expense was spared to ensure all of my awesome customers get the most out of their fishing charter experience. I run a 250-horsepower Honda motor on the back of my vessel that is efficient, fast, and reliable, making sure we get back to the dock every trip and to the fishing grounds in a timely fashion.

The Gear for Your Anna Maria Fishing Charters Excursion

The Gear: We run all 9-foot light-tackle lounge custom-made rods by the legendary rod builder Tom Stephens. These rods are the best of the best for tarpon, permit, cobia, kingfish, and any other big-game species we fish for. We pair these top-of-the-line rods with 10- and 14-k Shimano Saragosas, which are absolute workhorses. These Shimano Saragosas are the best fishing reels money can buy, and they will make sure you have the best chance of bringing your 100-pound tarpon to the boat quickly so we can get a bait in front of the next one!

We also just got a few 8-foot Thrasher rods built by Tom, and we can’t wait to put them to work this season! For inshore fishing, we are using 3-, 3.4-, and 5-thousand Quantum reels with Red Bone fishing rods that are both tough and durable to handle the everyday abuse. I am looking forward to fishing with new and repeat guests this year and can’t wait to put some big fish in the boat.
