There’s nothing quite like easing up to a school of big reds, making a few good casts, and suddenly watching everyone on the boat hook up within minutes. The redfish we’ve been catching have been on the bigger side, too, which means some great battles once they’re hooked.

You’ll see fish exploding on baits, darting out from the mangroves, and putting everyone’s drag to the test. Snook are aggressive, powerful fish that love structure, which means every hookup quickly turns into a serious fight.
But when someone finally slides a nice slot snook into the boat after a hard battle, it always ends the same way—a few high fives, a quick photo, and then sending that fish back on its way.
A Variety of Fishing Options on Every Charter
All of this action has made for some incredibly fun days running Anna Maria Island fishing charters.
One of the best parts about fishing here is the variety of options available on any given trip. Depending on conditions and what everyone on the boat wants to target, we can bounce between several different species throughout the day.

Offshore trips can be especially exciting because you never quite know what might appear behind the boat. One minute you could see a cobia cruising near the surface, and the next you might have a big kingfish screaming line off the reel.

It keeps every trip interesting and gives anglers the chance to experience multiple styles of fishing during a single charter.
