I love fishing. Anna Maria Island fishing is some of the best in the world, year-round. And because I lead AMI fishing charters for a living, I get to fish every day with all kinds of people. I am living the dream.
But I should explain. As awesome as the fishing is here, and as much fun as people have catching fish, I’m happy to say that my charters offer even more.

I’ve been fishing in Anna Maria waters for pretty much my whole life. And I’ve been leading local fishing charters professionally for more than a decade. I know these fish, and I know these waters.
The reason you need a knowledgeable guide isn’t just because they know good spots. An experienced captain is an adaptable captain. Part of the fun of fishing is the challenge. We can’t tell the fish what to do; we have to go to them.
So the fish themselves—as well as the weather, the time of year, and even the skills and preferences of my clients—mean you have to be a versatile, flexible problem solver to create a fun day on the water. That’s what I do.
With my experience, I’ve got all the tools needed to execute the best possible day, factoring in all the different variables.

What people don’t always understand is that a fishing charter is about so much more than fishing. It’s not just what you catch. It’s how you feel.
The truth is, you can have a great catch and still not have a good time. And what a waste that would be!

I offer all of these different boat tours separately, too, but they naturally overlap. We may prioritize fishing for your fishing charter, but we don’t overlook all the glorious possibilities out there. We’re going to see some fabulous things on the way, and we’re going to have an incredible time.
